Quill was founded by Michael Daugherty, who spent a decade at AngelList building Syndicates and scaling AngelList Venture to over $1B in assets under management. Thousands of meetings taught him that conversations are the richest data source in your work life — a single hour produces more words than thirty emails — and almost all of it gets lost. Quill exists to change that.

We're built on a simple belief: your conversations belong to you, and so should the intelligence that comes from them. We process audio on your device, store your data locally, and give you full control over how it's used. Then we help you act on it.

We're a team of eight. Backed by Basis Set Ventures, 500 Global, and other wonderful investors. Every one of whom was a Quill user before they wrote a check.
