If required in your region, you should notify others in your meeting that you're using Quill. For example, you can say: "Do you mind if I transcribe to take notes?" or "Do you mind if I use Quill, a local AI note-taker?"
Additionally, you can change your name in Zoom to include Quill. Changing your name on the Zoom can be done through the Zoom web client.
Google Meet
If required in your region, you should notify others in your meeting that you're using Quill. For example, you can say: "Do you mind if I transcribe to take notes?" or "Do you mind if I use Quill, a local AI note-taker?"
Additionally, you can change your name in Google Meet to include Quill. To change your name on Google Meet, visit your Google Account and click your name. Change your nickname to 'and Quill'.
Note: If you are on a workspace account and can't change your nickname because its greyed out, your admin can enable nicknames at admin.google.com > Directory > Directory Settings > Profile editing > enable 'Name, Allow users to edit their name'.
Microsoft Teams (guest)
If required in your region, you should notify others in your meeting that you're using Quill. For example, you can say: "Do you mind if I transcribe to take notes?" or "Do you mind if I use Quill, a local AI note-taker?" Additionally, you can change your name in Teams to include Quill. To change your name on Microsoft Teams, simply change your name when signing into a meeting.
Microsoft Teams (admin)
If your Microsoft account is managed by your system administrator, contact them to update your display name.
